This work uses a commonplace mug and table as a metaphor for current economic precarity. Suspended at the edge of collapse, the object reflects a generation whose material environment is defined by mass-produced affordability while meaningful financial security remains increasingly unattainable. The black coffee-like liquid emphasises the cliché of this condition: instability is no longer exceptional, but has become ordinary.

Self-portrait,
2018

A hand and a head emerge from behind a theatrical curtain, suspended between appearance and disappearance. The images explore the exhaustion of perpetual self-performance — the pressure to present, adapt, and perform across work, education, and social life. The title Excess speaks to the surplus of effort required merely to take part. In this world, the stage is everywhere, and there is almost no backstage.

This work will soon be available as a high-quality framed print.

Fallen

Digital photograph,
2018

Resembling both a fallen branch and an exposed root system, the hand becomes a landscape of tension and fragility. The photograph explores the body as a site of memory, carrying traces of endurance, transformation, and loss.
